The beach of Marcello is situated at a distance of 2,5 km northern to the Parikia. Krios and Marcello are part of a single beach and are extended up to the northern part ofParikia Bay, the Agios Fokas cape.It is a long sandy beach, with fine white sand and crystal clear sea.
Marcello due to its geographical position is well protected from the northern winds. It is a lovely beach with a nice view of the town and attracts many people. It is well organized with sun beds and umbrellas as well as beach bars.
Access to the beach is very easy by taxi, car or motorbike. Moreover, you can catch one of the excursion boats departing daily from Parikia and stop at Marcello. Accommodation is available in the town of Paros and in the area around, where you will find many hotels and lodgings.
